What was this thing? The front looks like some VW kit, but it looks mid-engine V8. My guess VW kit with Corvair rear trans-axle and V8.

No doubt it has a “mortgage helper”, a particularly cynical BC thing. I noticed the doors as a house I lived in as a kid had a similar style, but with actual windows, glazed in a lumpy late 70s/early 80s amber colored glass.

Those above are unique. Maybe better than the trend here, doors with translucent panels, all the rage among the overmonied mcmodern set:

Something tells me those will be trouble.
